Flyboard® 3.0

The springboard that launched Zapata™ into the world-renowned Hydroflight sports leader it is today. The Flyboard® hydro-flyer allows users to fly, dive and jump out of the water using a personal water craft (PWC) for propulsion. Now in its third iteration, the Flyboard® 3.0 uses the Zapata’s™ Wireless Controller to send the operator to heights of up to 55 feet. Zapata™ has constantly evolved the Flyboard®, now offering 32% better hydrodynamic efficiency, and a 35% weight savings over previous models.

  • The Flyboard® is in its third iteration, offering many new features and innovations:
    • Hydrodynamic efficiency improved by 32%
    • 35% lighter than previous models
    • Larger and more stable foot plate
    • Futuristic design with a new transparent hydraulic system, allowing the user to see water flow
    • Return spring, which allows the rider to return to a neutral position, as well as stops to lock and limit the spin angle for increased safety

Hoverboard 1.0

The Hoverboard by ZR® is a hydro-propelled board that allows the user to ride and surf in total freedom above the water. The Hoverboard by ZR® is connected to a personal water craft (PWC) by a Zapata’s™ hose and the user can reach heights of 26 feet above the water and speeds of up to 25 mph.

  • The Hoverboard by ZR® implemented many pieces of technology:
    • Molded carbon fiber reinforced board makes it resistant of forces up to 11 tons per m2
    • Aluminum propulsion system
    • Fast clip interface
    • Futuristic design with a new transparent hydraulic system, allowing the user to see water flow
    • Return spring, which allows the rider to return to a neutral position, as well as stops to lock and limit the spin angle for increased safety

Zapata Jetpack™ 1.0

The Zapata Jetpack™ is a hydro-flyer system designed to allow the user greater flexibility, and a less demanding experience, from a seated position while in the air. Utilizing the same technology and aesthetic qualities as the rest of the hydro-flyer line, the Zapata Jetpack™ modern design weighs at least 50% less than compared with competing products. The Jetpack is more agile, allows more maximum mobility for the user, and is able to be transported with ease.

  • The Zapata Jetpack™ allows the user to fly in a seated position, which is less demanding on the rider’s balance and endurance.
  • The Zapata Jetpack™ utilizes the latest transparent hydraulic technologies and modern design.
  • Comes equipped with an FIA (International Automobile Federation) homologated 5-point harness
  • 50% lighter than competing products. 
Steering controls under the user’s arm allow for maximum mobility.

Hydro-Flyers In Development

Podracer™ 1.0

The Podracer™ will be the testing grounds for future, hose-less Zapata’s™ Air Jet Craft technology. With a completed prototype and development on track for a 2017 preview, the Podracer’s™ advanced seating position will give users the sensation of a flying jet bike, also giving the rider more confidence and proficiency at handling and maneuverability.

Hoverboard by ZR® 2.0

The second version of the Hoverboard by ZR® is in its prototype stage on track for a 2017 preview. The updated technology such as the gyroscopic leveling system will allow casual riders the ability to be able to perform on a similar level as advanced riders and extreme sport athletes. The Hoverboard by ZR® will usher in a new standard for advanced watersports.
